GUIDANCE TO NIOS STUDENTS

We provide complete guidance and assistance to existing NIOS students to help them pass their exams with high grades. Any NIOS student who is unable to pass any subject can avail the option of changing the subject or adding the subject to be able to study and pass conveniently. Any Student who has failed in one or more subject can appear in exams for only those subjects in which he/she has failed. For NIOS students, key guidance includes: effectively utilizing self-study material, consistently completing Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs), attending Personal Contact Programs (PCPs) to clear doubts, creating a structured study schedule, practicing with past year question papers.

F.A.Q's.

NIOS Course is easy as compared to other State Board Courses for 10th & 12th. It requires reasonable efforts on the part of the student. Hence, it is easy to pass NIOS exams.

Yes. You can join NIOS Course and pursue your education. You will be required to submit necessary documents for taking admission in NIOS course.

Any student or person who had been to school / college anytime but not yet passed 10th OR 12th standard can join NIOS to pass schooling / junior college.

NIOS offers the Secondary course in English, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Odia, Telugu, Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam and Punjabi mediums; and the Senior Secondary course in English, Hindi, Odia, Bengali, Gujarati and Urdu mediums.

  • A learner who has passed class VIII and has a valid proof that he/she has attained 14 years of age can apply for registration to the Secondary Course.
  • The learner who gives a self certificate stating that “I have studied and able to pursue the secondary course” is also eligible for admission to the Secondary Course.
  • The learner who had studied at the Secondary level can also seek admission in NIOS either to complete his course or to improve his performance. 
  • Residential proof of the learner. 

NIOS Theory (written) exams are held in April and November each year.

No. A student can pass NIOS 10th even without taking Maths and Science.

The Admission (once registered) is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of admission.
 
No. A student can pass NIOS 10th even without taking Hindi and Marathi.
 
Yes. You can join NIOS 10th / 12th and continue your education and make a successful career.
 
Yes. A student can take admission in College in standard 11th and continue its further studies.
